Northern Beaches State High school is a coeducational state school located in the Northern Beaches area of Townsville. Educational programs cater for students in year 8 to 12.

Northern Beaches State High School enjoys the supportive school environment offered by a small school. Because of the relatively small size of the school, staff are able to establish positive working relationships with students. Students with Special Needs are catered for through a Special Education Class.
